 Orinoco: A Latin Kitchen is inspired by "taguaritas"-- rustic, inviting, family-run eateries found along Venezuelan roadsides. Our three neighborhood kitchens are each a labor of love – opened and cared for by friends (all native Venezuelans) who are passionate about bringing authentic Latin America flavors and the warmth of traditional Latin culture to local diners. Each Orinoco offers an affordable, neighborhood-focused dining tradition that is known for being casual, lively and fun. Our menu includes old family recipes that blend the cuisines and favorite dishes of the Andes and the Caribbean – plus specials that take full advantage of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Orinoco features authentic South American wines, beers, and tropical fruit drinks. In addition, our Brookline Village location offers Caribbean-inspired specialty cocktails. Featuring a colorful interior that was carefully restored by hand, we’ve been part of this close-knit neighborhood since 2006. The restaurant is situated within similar walking distance from either the Massachusetts Avenue T-stop or the Back Bay Station on the Orange Line. Featuring both communal and private table seating, Brookline also hosts a full bar with specialty cocktails. Brookline Village is found at the intersection of Harvard Street and Route 9, and Orinoco sits just within a couple of blocks from the Brookline Village T-stop on the Green Line, Riverside. CAMBRIDGE – HARVARD SQUARE Our newest location is in the historic and lively Harvard Square neighborhood – centrally situated on JFK Street at the edge of Harvard’s Kennedy School. We’re off-street in a quaint bow-front built in 1900 -- that originally housed one of the area’s first Spanish restaurants. Our Harvard Square kitchen features a welcoming interior that’s comfortable and familiar and we offer outdoor seating on our private patio in warmer weather. The restaurant is easily reached by public transportation -- we’re just a quick walk from the Red Line’s Harvard Square stop.
